TOP 5 COATS FOR AUTUMN + WINTER

1. THE AVIATOR COAT

This style is one of my absolute favorites.

It has the same edgy look as a moto jacket, but with extra warmth and length.

style with: combat boots, thick knits, ripped jeans.

2. THE PEACOAT

This one is perfect if your style involves a lot of menswear inspired pieces.

This one is definitely the most work appropriate outerwear pick, and looks extra boss-level over the shoulders.

style with: baseball cap and sneakers, or over an LBD at night.

3. THE PUFFER

Puffer jackets are my go-to when the Boston winter gets intense.

I’m so happy Balenciaga and Vetements brought them back into style, but let’s be real- we were wearing them either way.

Faux fur is the way to go in my eyes- and thankfully so many brands have gotten on board with this mission!

Nothing adds an element of class to an outfit quite like a faux fur coat, plus they’re so cozy! Definitely a travel essential for winter getaways.

5. THE TEDDY COAT

The brands MaxMara and I.AM.GIA are definitely responsible for this one- their versions of this coat completely blew up last year.

I’m still not over the whole trend- I love how these coats can go from day to night with ease.
