Living in Boston has made me accustomed to tough winters- when November / early December hits, it’s hard to go out in anything other than a down jacket. I’ve always sought out winter coats and accessories that keep me warm while staying true to my style (sometimes failing at the “keeping me warm” part).

I’ve narrowed down the key items that will get you through the winter- and stay within the color palette I’ve create on my page.. of course it wouldn’t be a post from me without a few outfit ideas; hope these items and looks help you on stay cute and cozy this winter!

THE GLOVES

Uniqlo’s heattech line is no joke- I’ve worn these gloves for a couple years now! I love the wide range of colors and textures they come in, you can find the perfect style to go with your main winter coat. They also have the texting fingertips! current favorites: cashmere gloves + faux shearling cuffed gloves

THE RIBBED BEANIE

I can never have too many of these- I love how they compliment any other knitwear you have on! It’s hard to switch up your outfits in the winter when the coat is your main piece, but beanies are a great way to do that. Acne has some of my favorite styles, but if you don’t want to splurge on that, here’s a great ASOS alternative.

THE WOOL SCARF

This one is my favorite- a fringed wool scarf can make any winter outfit ten times more chic (and warm). Burberry’s signature plaid is a great option for this, and I’ve also been a fan of Acne’s Canada scarf for many years now. They’re both a big investment, so my best advice is to splurge on one that mates at least two of the coats you wear most often.
