Spring / Summer Capsule Wardrobe
In the beginning of winter, I posted a capsule wardrobe post on my #STYLEDbyFLORENCIA blog- it became one of my most useful articles, so I decided to create an updated version for the spring / summer months.
Although the seasons are changing, there are still some items that overlap between the collections- in other words, great news for those who purchased pieces from the last post! I hope this capsule can be a good starting point for anyone looking to simplify their wardrobe. These items have been very carefully selected with both quality, comfort, and price in mind.
the drape trench: this Everlane coat is the perfect piece to transition between seasons.
the moto jacket: a season-less staple, good over-top any of these looks.
the denim jacket: wear with any spring dress + sneakers.
white linen top: Reformation does the best spring / summer tops!
square neck bodysuit: this bodysuit works for any occasion, and the neckline is super on-trend.
camel sweatsuit set: wear together or separately, always cozy.
black biker shorts: not just for the gym anymore- perfect with a crewneck + sneakers.
high rise denim shorts: GRLFRND is one of my favorite denim brands, and these shorts get an A+.
floral wrap dress: another area where Reformation shines- can’t go wrong with their wrap dresses.
black midi dress: best piece to dress up then down, just switch out the heels for sneakers.
white high rise jeans: this is the best time of year to wear white jeans, and it doesn’t get more flattering than Levi’s 501.
printed midi skirt: this print is surprisingly easy to style thanks to the neutral palette. 10/10, would recommend.
Alexander Mcqueen sneakers: white sneakers are always a must, and I’m all about the chunky trend (affordable alternative pair linked here).
block heel sandals: these go perfectly with any spring / summer outfit, and the heel is super wearable.
white heeled sandals: these are a great alternative to the Bottega sandals that are taking over right now.
platform boots: not just for winter! these look amazing with vintage jeans and a bodysuit on a spring day.
Alexander Wang Attica bag: this piece is so perfect for everyday looks- also love it worn as a cross-body bag (affordable alternative linked here).
By Far Rachel bag: the baguette shape is huge this year, and this cream tone compliments so many different outfits (affordable alternative linked here).
linen tote: this works as a beach tote, or a work tote!
Ray-ban Hexagon sunnies: can’t do spring / summer without these! I love a pair of vintage-style frames.
Quay sunnies: these are a fun way to experiment with on-trend eyewear without $$$pending too much!
